Not everyone will and should agree with the observations and opinions of leadership, as everyone can’t see the larger picture or take the risks needed to achieve a goal. A leader must take feedback and criticism objectively. This particular statement summarised the entire session on Toastmasters and leadership opportunities for me in Gurukul 4.0. I loved the way real-life examples and situations were discussed and the entire session was focused on leadership fundamentals and introspection which is the first step in commencing the journey of self-development.Loved the way the speaker conducted the session and the very engrossing Q&A session. Looking forward to more such sessions which give deeper self reflection and realisation

The session was inspiring, to say the least. The speaker, Dr. Chandrashekhar, is a seasoned veteran, and this made all the difference. He spoke from experience, narrating anecdotes which exhorted all attendees to work with vigor and perseverance.

We have all heard about workshops and sessions about Public speaking, various communication hacks, how to speak to influence etc., But someone rarely ever teaches you how to become a leader. I got the chance to learn about leadership in this session, how to deal with conflict of interest, how to not assume things or be judgemental, how a persons self belief and sense of responsibility creates a leader in him. Thank you for adding value in my journey, totally worth my time and looking forward to such more sessions

The first session of Gurukul Edition 4, was on Leadership. The session, facilitated by DTM Sapna Ohri, and led by Dr. Chandrashekhar. An immersive experience, this was distinctly different from the leadership seminars I have attended. It was a relief that the leadership style rhetoric was absent. It was a delight that there was candid, crisp sharing of personal experience in toastmasters itself. For me the biggest takeaway was ‘success and failure are subjective’. The interactive session was a delectable combo - light, lively yet laced with life lessons!A huge thank you for offering us this platter Dr Chandrashekhar and organizing team!

Gurukul’s maiden session was convened on 15.10.2023 at 8.30 p.m. and was heralded by the inimitable DTM Dr. Chandrashekhar. In his address, “Toastmasters & Leadership”, he deep-dived into his experiences as an unwitting implanted President. His repeated refrain was “Always Take Initiative.” If nothing else, this was one singular takeaway from his session. He exhorted the leaders to migrate from “I, Me, Myself” to “I, We, Us”. In Toastmasters, Leaders cannot force their members to act. They can only influence and lead by example. If negative feedback is provided, acknowledge it, gulp it, and imbibe its lesson. One of the memorable statements made by him was “There are no mistakes in life, only lessons". Funnily, but true, he reminded all of us that if we are 1000% enthusiastic, our downline is a mere 100%, and further down as we travel, the dilution is always by 10X. Thus, the leaders’ initial enthusiasm has to be sky-high and solidly consistent. Thank you, Gurukul 4.0
